A HUGE SURPRISE to start a lovely sunday (13th April), I just read in the Spanish Vogue that the next awesome designer to be added to the list of collaborations with H&M will be one of my favourites ALEXANDER WANG! I cannot help it, I really like what he does and I totally agree with Ms. Margareta van den Bosch: "He understands exactly what people want to wear and does it with an energy and passion that's infectious. It feels incredible to be collaborating with him this year." Lee este blog en español! :)I read with some dismay the news in Fashion United.
They are changing the communication policy and one of the principal keys of the change is to avoid the massive presence of Street Style bloggers & photographers. Certainly I find especially derogatory this comment from Catherine Bennett, who oversees NYFW "It used to be a platform for established designers, media and buyers, has become a mess, often at a cost prohibitive, and exhausting for our industry to do business effectively"... Fashion Week understand that any city is an important event for the fashion business, but also believe that without people who cares about fashion and trends have little to designers. In any event, ideally find a middle ground, but bloggers are people, in general, extremely devoted to fashion and trends and influencers exclude it seems an unwise strategy. Among other things because buyers also benefit directly from the diffusion of what happens at these events and thus is achieved that normal people with an average salary spend a lot of money in acquiring at least a bag or a pair of stilettos that cost beyond their means. Add and organize is always smarter and more productive than exlcluir in any business environment. Thanks for the feedback! ^^ Lee este post en español! :)I recently mentioned that I attended in several open days in Madrid. One of the most intense was organized by the agency TT.PR. Definitely one of my fav brands was Camper, great stuff what is coming in the next season: full of surprises and fabulous collaborations with very motley designers: Rachel Comey, Capara, Romain Kremer, Bernhard Willhelm & Kvadrat. I confess that my favorite collection ia¡s TWINS Camper is the premise that element of the pair has different details that make super special have at least from my point of view, a camper! The variety of shapes, colors, textures and designs are extremely care for me an aesthetic experience. What do you think of the new collection? ^^ Lee este post en español! :)The news has already spread by social networs several days ago, but decided to make this post it was necessary for me, because Balenciaga is my favorite designer and although this great artist has left the earth for many years, Ghesquière has really regained his legacy and has strengthened in these times. That Balenciaga did not want to do because he understood that it was distancing of your brand, ie Ready-to-wear. Nicolas Ghesquière is admired and dare I say, acclaimed in the industry, being simply a deep admirer of the great designers, have fallen surrendered to the creative attributes of it. So the news last year when he left Balenciaga, left me with a sour taste. In the past month have moved several pieces on the board in the world of luxury brands, Marc Jacobs leaves Vuitton, if you want to see the farewell video of the funeral-procession is here, but there is not all the news is strong, Jacobs begins new horizons with the Coach brand.
Ghesquière HAS BEEN BOOKED to take his place in the French firm, according Europapress. The truth is I can not help but wonder we see in the near future as a result of these chess moves. Most rewarding, what happened to me was discovering creations and brands know, of course Mr. Google, now brings us all together but still does not replace the experience of feeling, looking first hand... which I appreciate because I assure you that what I found on Stand Cath Kidston fascinated me.
It is an English brand, namely after his creator, the first store opened in 1993 in Holland Park. I have to repeat it, I love it because it gives an original and warm touch to everything, and there is great variety of products, thus every aspect of the routine of a house or my supplements can have that chic & cute look. I leave my collage with my CK item as the protagonist, new and adorable acquisition, with great motives of London, one of my favorite cities! ^^ Lee este post en español! :)"Confidence is not for sale" is the motto of VILA one of the brands I had the pleasure of meetingduring these open days, I must say that dazzled me. Why? It got my inmediate attention ... the collection of what is coming is superb and very combinable, two variants of textures and prints. The second: TOUCH really the texture of the clothes is fantastic!!!!!!! I think VILA will have a special place in my closet from this season ... You can see photos of the Outfit I combined. Another great thing about this brand is its CULTURE opts for sensual, feminine and self confidence. It is of Danish origin and the truth is that both the proposal from the autumn / winter and the next season is interesting, I loved it. There is a great quality/price balance, I'd love that could touch the garments to understand what I am talking about. I recommend you look at it this season on their web! THESE ARE MY FAVORITES FROM NEXT SEASON !!! This is my first Outfit using a VILA shirt. I have had the opportunity to share this experience with excellent professionals, like Sophie Carmo, I invite you also to visit her universe, she is a great blogger!!! I had the opportunity to see first hand the new trends of various brands, some were known and others I've discovered with great enthusiasm, because I have found in each premise of different brands, details that I liked, to highlight tips and ideas that will trend next spring. In the next post I will talk about my favorite clothes, favorite of those who work with these brands every day and an impressive gallery with many pictures items so they can view everything as if they had been there! Reviews? Questions? Comments? ... What you think of the new trends? The new collaboration France / Sweden through H & M with designer Isabel Marant, including clothing for men, women & kids. From what I can see in the exhibition within the framework of the Madrid Film Festival, the proposal is simply beautiful and very chic in all its aspects. It combines chunky knit garments with complex textures dresses, leather pants, metallic prints and boyfriend style jackets. The colors that stand out are grey, black, white with orange accents and gold. The design of the shoes combines different styles: stilettos with gold studs, leather and suede booties wide lateral rod and fringed detail. I just loved it! This are my favourites… Check the pics! ¿Wich one is your musthave?
