NYFW... no bloggers allowed

I read with some dismay the news in Fashion United.
They are changing the communication policy and one of the principal keys of the change is to avoid the massive presence of Street Style bloggers & photographers. Certainly I find especially derogatory this comment from Catherine Bennett, who oversees NYFW "It used to be a platform for established designers, media and buyers, has become a mess, often at a cost prohibitive, and exhausting for our industry to do business effectively"...
Fashion Week understand that any city is an important event for the fashion business, but also believe that without people who cares about fashion and trends have little to designers. In any event, ideally find a middle ground, but bloggers are people, in general, extremely devoted to fashion and trends and influencers exclude it seems an unwise strategy.
Among other things because buyers also benefit directly from the diffusion of what happens at these events and thus is achieved that normal people with an average salary spend a lot of money in acquiring at least a bag or a pair of stilettos that cost beyond their means.
Add and organize is always smarter and more productive than exlcluir in any business environment.
Thanks for the feedback! ^^
